Hack: DIY Gathered Dress

I had been wanting to make a variation of my DIY Gathered Dress ever since I created the tutorial and I thought this Lime Green Linen would be the perfect fabric choice. So, here it is! Super flowy and comfy, this dress was all I wore over the long weekend by the beach.

Pattern: DIY Gathered Dress with 2 x 45cm high tiers and SCRUNCHIE STRAPS! These straps are super popular right now so I had to incorporate them into this make. Essentially, I made 2 regular straps and then 2 more straps that were double the length and slightly wider than the regular straps. Then I just fed the regular straps inside the bigger straps and sewed them into my facing as normal.

Fabric: 3m of Lime Green Linen gifted by Super Cheap Fabrics. This colour is so lovely and I have just enough left over to make some scrunchies and masks so I can have a super matchy moment!
